Today's Feature: Physical Therapy

My name is Kim Gallagher and I am the co-owner of Continuum Physical Therapy in Rockland.  My husband, Michael, and I opened our own physical therapy practice in 2007 after practicing in a variety of settings.  Continuum Physical Therapy is an outpatient practice located in the Breakwater Marketplace overlooking Rockland’s beautiful harbor.  We provide Physical Therapy treatments, based on the best available medical research, for a wide range of muscular, joint, and neurological problems.  We pride ourselves on our customer service and strive to provide you with a great experience, from the initial phone call to the discharge visit.  We value your time and have an on-time guarantee that ensures you will not wait for your scheduled appointment.  Your treatment will be one-on-one and designed to fit your particular needs and goals.  We accept most insurances and will verify your coverage at your first visit.

At Continuum Physical Therapy we specialize in musculoskeletal injuries and pain such as back and neck pain, tendonitis, bursitis, rotator cuff tears, ACL and meniscal tears, plantar fasciitis, muscle strains and sprains, fractures, and osteoporosis.  We also work with clients who have poor balance due to musculoskeletal limitations or vestibular problems and are at risk for falling.  We offer vestibular rehabilitation for those experiencing dizziness or vertigo.  Our expertise also extends into the area of work-related injuries and prevention of injuries.  We will go to your place of business to perform ergonomic assessments and offer functional capacity evaluations at our clinic.

The newest addition to our services is a a cutting-edge Golf Performance Program focused on improving your body and your game.  Michael has achieved the title of Certified Golf Fitness Instructor through the Titleist Performance Institute. Using a total body, functional assessment, he will quickly and accurately identify areas of your body that lack strength or flexibility.  You will learn how those problems are directly affecting your swing.
