The idea of a women’s networking group was hatched after the realization
that this area has a multitude of amazing businesswomen. Offering these
women a safe environment in which to work to grow their businesses while at
the same time providing an atmosphere of only one woman per profession
seemed like it made sense. Originally there were four of us who met
sporadically in 2007 to get this idea off the ground. Eventually it was
Rachael and Heather who orchestrated the evolution of the Camrock Women’s Network,
including the location and the materials. Needless to say, we couldn’t be more
thrilled with the direction this has taken. Our first meeting had eight
women and we knew immediately that we were on to something.

Our number one mission is to be supportive of businesswomen in our area by
providing referrals as well as suggestions on how to effectively and
efficiently grow our businesses.
